Yes—but OneStream Live does not continuously play a file directly from Google Drive. You first import the video into OneStream, then schedule its YouTube-only 24/7 stream. OneStream’s Help Center says the feature requires an Enterprise plan and allows a maximum stream duration of 30 days.
What “streaming from Google Drive” means in OneStream
Google Drive is the source for importing a video into OneStream’s content library, not the place OneStream continuously reads the video from during the broadcast. The documented workflow uses a Drive link to import the video into OneStream first. Make sure the file is appropriate to share using the access setting the import requires: “Anyone with the link.” OneStream’s Google Drive import instructions describe this process.
Once the video is in OneStream, you can select it from Cloud Storage when setting up a 24/7 stream. According to the OneStream Live Help Center’s “How to Start 24/7 Live Streaming?” article, last updated September 3, 2026, continuous streaming is exclusive to YouTube, requires Enterprise, and can run for up to 30 days per scheduled stream.
How to import the video and schedule a 24/7 stream
- Make the Drive video accessible by link. In Google Drive, locate the video, open its sharing controls, set access to “Anyone with the link,” and copy the link. Consider whether that sharing arrangement is suitable for the video before proceeding.
- Import it into OneStream. In OneStream, go to My Content, choose Upload and Videos, select Add Videos, then choose Cloud Storage and Google Drive. Paste the link and upload the video.
- Connect your YouTube account. If the intended YouTube channel is not already connected to OneStream, connect it before creating the broadcast. OneStream’s YouTube streaming instructions cover connecting a channel and scheduling a prerecorded stream.
- Create a 24-hour stream. Add the imported video or videos, select the YouTube channel, and enter the stream details. Choose whether to start immediately or schedule it for later, then set the duration in days and schedule the broadcast.
- Check the eligibility and duration. The 24/7 feature requires Enterprise and has a maximum duration of 30 days for a scheduled broadcast. It is not an indefinite, never-ending stream.
How 24/7 streaming differs from playlists and recurring streams
OneStream also supports playlists of prerecorded videos and recurring prerecorded broadcasts. These can be useful, but they are different scheduling modes from one continuous 24/7 broadcast.

OneStream says prerecorded streams can be scheduled up to 60 days in advance in its overview of ways to go live. That is the advance scheduling window, not the 30-day maximum duration of a 24/7 broadcast.
When this setup fits—and when it does not
- It fits if you want to import a Drive-hosted recording into OneStream and schedule a continuous YouTube broadcast lasting no more than 30 days, and you have access to Enterprise.
- It does not mean OneStream streams directly from a live Google Drive file or leaves one 24/7 broadcast running indefinitely.
- Consider a playlist or recurrence instead if your need is a sequence of prerecorded videos or separately scheduled repeat events rather than one continuous broadcast.
