Why are Beth and Rip separated?
In the situation described ahead of season 5, part 2, Rip is in Texas with the cattle while Beth stays behind at the Montana ranch, trying to work out how to keep it afloat. Their distance is practical, not presented as a breakup: Reilly says the couple are “very much together.”
Does Beth miss Rip in Yellowstone season 5, part 2?
Yes. Reilly says Beth misses Rip “tremendously.” Those remarks appeared in a Screen Rant interview, as reproduced in a Headtopics report dated November 10, 2024. The available report attributes the words to Reilly, who plays Beth; the original Screen Rant page was not independently checked.
Does Beth go to Texas to see Rip?
Reilly suggests Beth may visit Texas, but withholds plot details. That makes a visit a tease, not a confirmed event in the interview report. It does not establish whether Beth makes the trip or what happens if she does.

What followed the season 5 separation tease?
In a later development, Paramount+ lists Dutton Ranch as a streaming series starring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser. Its official listing describes Beth and Rip trying to build a new life in Texas, with season-one episodes dated May 15 through July 3, 2026. This is a later continuation of their story, not confirmation of what Reilly meant about a possible visit in 2024. View the official Paramount+ listing. Availability may vary by country.
