It is a renamed and expanded park—not a new Disneyland Paris resort—with World of Frozen at its centre, alongside Adventure Way, Adventure Bay, and the existing Pixar and Marvel areas.
When did Disney Adventure World open?
Disneyland Paris held the park’s inauguration on 28 March 2026; its first guests entered Disney Adventure World the following day, 29 March. The park was previously known as Walt Disney Studios Park. Disneyland Paris’s opening-day account describes the change as the opening of a reimagined second park, not the launch of a separate resort.
What is in Disney Adventure World?
The park brings together themed areas based on Frozen, Pixar and Marvel. World of Frozen recreates the Kingdom of Arendelle, while Adventure Way connects areas of the park and Adventure Bay is the lake and setting for the new nighttime spectacular.
World of Frozen
World of Frozen includes Frozen Ever After, a family boat ride; a character experience inside Arendelle Castle; themed dining; and shops with toys, souvenirs and Arendelle-inspired gifts. Disneyland Paris uses “World of Frozen” as the official name; some guests call it “Frozen Land.” See the official World of Frozen page for current access information and experiences.

Other new offerings
Opening-day offerings included the live show A Celebration in Arendelle, character appearances, and Raiponce Tangled Spin. Disney Cascade of Lights, the park’s nighttime spectacular at Adventure Bay, had its first performance on opening evening. Disneyland Paris’s opening account describes drones, flames, water screens, projected animation, fountains and pyrotechnic effects; the exact effects and performance conditions may vary by showing.
Disneyland Paris announced 15 new dining locations for the expansion, but said they would open gradually. That figure is the announced total, not confirmation that all locations were open at once. Check the park’s current information for what is operating during your visit.

How to enter World of Frozen and meet Anna and Elsa
Access to World of Frozen requires valid admission to Disney Adventure World and registration for the day of the visit. The Anna and Elsa castle encounter is a separate experience: it requires a free reservation, primarily through the Disneyland Paris mobile app, and is subject to availability. Anna and Elsa may also appear at different times and places, so do not assume that a particular meeting time is guaranteed. Confirm the current rules and availability on the official World of Frozen page and in the app.
Is Frozen Ever After open today?
Disneyland Paris describes Frozen Ever After as normally open daily, but that does not guarantee it will be operating at a particular time or on a particular date. Check the Disneyland Paris mobile app for that day’s hours and disruptions, and consult the Frozen Ever After attraction page before travelling. The page currently lists a planned closure from 13 to 24 September 2027; schedules and planned works can change.
Ride considerations
The attraction page lists dark areas, strobe lighting and splash risk among its considerations, as well as transfer from a wheelchair. Children under seven must be accompanied by an adult. Review the current attraction guidance if these details matter to anyone in your party.

- Practical needs: Check registration, reservations, attraction guidance, showtimes and current operating status in the official app.
Disneyland Paris’s inauguration article reports 445 million visits since the resort opened in 1992 and says it accounts for 6.1% of France’s tourism revenue. Its separate inauguration report and FY26 Q1 fact sheet give different visitation totals and tourism-revenue percentages; these are corporate-published figures, and the publications do not explain the difference.
