What did Brooklyn Beckham say happened?
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz married in Florida in 2022. In a public statement in January 2026, Brooklyn said that a planned first dance with his wife was disrupted after singer Marc Anthony called him to the stage and his mother, Victoria Beckham, was there to dance with him. Brooklyn said he felt uncomfortable and humiliated. He described the dance as: “She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone.” This is Brooklyn’s account of the event, not an independently established finding. Stavros Agapiou, identified in reports as a wedding guest and DJ Fat Tony’s partner, reportedly commented on Instagram: “I was there and she did, he’s telling the truth.” Cosmopolitan reported the comment, attributing its account to the Daily Mail; The Tab also reported it and identified Agapiou as a guest. The comment was later deleted.
Agapiou’s reported words amount to brief agreement with Brooklyn’s account, but they do not spell out what he saw or describe the conduct. Brooklyn also said the wedding had 500 guests; that is his stated figure, not an independently verified count. Cosmopolitan reported the figure.

What did DJ Fat Tony recall?
DJ Fat Tony discussed the moment in an appearance on ITV’s This Morning. Marie Claire UK reported that he said guests expected Nicola to join Brooklyn for the first dance, but Marc Anthony instead brought Victoria to the stage, and Nicola left the room crying. Fat Tony described the situation as awkward: “If he feels that it was inappropriate and awkward, it was inappropriate and awkward.”
LBC reported that Fat Tony clarified his criticism concerned the timing rather than the dance move itself. He also said: “The whole situation was very awkward for everyone in the room.” His account supplies a separate recollection of the stage moment and reaction; it is not independent proof of every detail in Brooklyn’s allegation.
