A May 2017 report named UFC fighters Raquel Pennington, Tecia Torres, Jessamyn Duke and Angela Magana in connection with alleged intimate-image leaks. It did not independently establish that the images were authentic, how they were obtained, or who shared them. The careful answer is that the claims were reported, but the underlying events remain unverified in the available coverage.
What did the 2017 report say?
A Fox News page republished a report by Daniel Cutts of The Sun, originally published May 8, 2017, and updated June 22, 2017. It named Pennington, Torres, Duke and Magana, but used qualifying language—describing the women as “feared” or “thought” to have been affected and the images as alleged. That wording matters: the article reported claims, not independently confirmed findings. Read the contemporaneous report.
The report described Pennington and Torres as partners and Duke as a former UFC fighter. Those details provide context only; they do not verify any alleged image leak or explain how private material may have been obtained.
Which fighters were named, and who responded?
The report associated four fighters with the allegations: Raquel Pennington, Tecia Torres, Jessamyn Duke and Angela Magana. In the coverage reviewed, Magana was the only one whose response was quoted. The report reproduced posts she made on May 6, 2017, including: “The leaked photos of #yourmajesty are very before and after fight camp or artistic in the mountains mud lakes rocks. Not porno” The report and quoted posts.

That quotation records what Magana said publicly. It does not independently verify the images’ authenticity or establish that images attributed to each named fighter were genuine. The reviewed article does not document a confirmation from Pennington, Torres or Duke.
Was the FBI involved?
Magana also wrote that she had “a case opened with the fbi in regards to leaked photos.” This is her claim as quoted in the report, not official confirmation that the FBI opened or investigated a case. The available coverage does not include an FBI statement or other independent confirmation.

What remains unverified?
The report does not establish who obtained or distributed the images, how they may have been obtained, whether all images attributed to the named fighters were authentic, or what law-enforcement authorities did. Its publication and update dates establish when the claims appeared in this coverage; they do not settle those unanswered questions.
Because the material was described as private and the claims were not independently verified in the reporting reviewed, this account does not reproduce or direct readers to the images. Avoiding further circulation of intimate material is a way to limit additional exposure, not evidence about what happened.
