Yes. Reports published on 3 and 4 April 2023 said Tiger Lily Hutchence and Pond frontman Nicholas Allbrook had split. The central evidence was wording in Hutchence’s release notes calling him her “ex-boyfriend.” Those reports establish the couple’s status as described in April 2023, not their relationship status today.
What the reports established
PerthNow reported on 3 April 2023 that Hutchence appeared to have split from Allbrook. The next day, Now To Love described the split as confirmed in notes accompanying Hutchence’s release Tragic Tiger’s Sad Meltdown. Both accounts pointed to the same phrase: “my ex-boyfriend Nick.”
PerthNow reproduced the surrounding sentence from the notes: “I had always been shy to sing with others but moving across the world and my ex-boyfriend Nick had given me some bravery.” The wording is evidence of how Hutchence referred to Allbrook in those notes; it does not give a precise breakup date.
Relationship timeline reported in 2023
- 2017: PerthNow and Now To Love both reported that Hutchence and Allbrook began dating that year.
- July 2022: PerthNow observed that Hutchence last appeared on Allbrook’s Instagram account in July 2022. That is context, not proof of when or why the relationship ended.
- 3 April 2023: PerthNow reported the apparent split and quoted the release-note wording.
- 4 April 2023: Now To Love reported that Hutchence had confirmed the split in the Bandcamp notes.
PerthNow described the relationship as having lasted six years, consistent with the reported 2017 start. The accounts do not establish an exact date for the breakup.

What remains unconfirmed
The 2023 coverage does not establish whether Hutchence and Allbrook are together now, or provide a current relationship update. Reports about a possible engagement were presented as rumor or source reporting; the cited coverage does not establish that the pair were definitively engaged or that an engagement ended.
