PerthNow reported that WWE chief content officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque said Johnson’s schedule was tight. The event was scheduled for 24 February 2024 at Optus Stadium.
What did Roger Cook write to The Rock?
In an open letter published on X, Cook invited Johnson to Perth in response to a video in which Johnson had suggested he might fly there if wrestlers kept talking trash. PerthNow quoted Cook as saying: “As Premier of Western Australia I feel compelled to inform The Rock there has been a lot of out-of-towners talking trash in the lead up to the Elimination Chamber.”
Cook also wrote: “Western Australians would love to smell what The Rock is cooking.” PerthNow reported that Cook offered logistical help. The post itself is not available as readable text in the report, so these excerpts should be understood as PerthNow’s quotations, not a complete independently verified transcript. Did The Rock appear at Elimination Chamber: Perth?
The available reporting establishes an invitation and a tease of a possible visit, not a confirmed appearance. PerthNow said Levesque told Perth radio station 6PR that Johnson’s schedule was tight. Neither Cook’s invitation nor Johnson’s teasing comment confirmed that he would attend.
