No. Taylor Swift’s August 2024 photo carousel from her Warsaw Eras Tour shows a concert scene; a silhouette that some viewers thought resembled Kamala Harris prompted speculation, but the image was not an explicit endorsement. Swift’s direct endorsement came separately, in an Instagram post on September 10, 2024.
What was in the Poland Eras Tour photo?
Swift shared a carousel of photos from her Warsaw performances in August 2024. One image included a waving woman’s silhouette. Some viewers interpreted the figure as resembling Harris, but that was speculation: the image does not establish the woman’s identity or show that Swift intended to communicate a political message. The Washington Post’s account of the photo and the subsequent endorsement describes the interpretation as fan speculation.
When did Swift explicitly endorse Harris?
On September 10, 2024, Swift posted a separate statement on Instagram saying she would vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election. She also encouraged people to research the candidates and vote. That direct statement—not the Warsaw concert photo—was her explicit endorsement. The Washington Post reported on the post; FactCheck.org also discussed the endorsement.
Why did Swift mention AI and misinformation?
In the September 10 post, Swift said she had learned of AI-generated images falsely portraying her as endorsing Donald Trump. She wrote, “Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site,” and said the episode “really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation.” The Washington Post reported her statement, and FactCheck.org covered the misinformation context.

That concern helps explain why Swift addressed a false political depiction in her later post. It does not establish that the earlier Warsaw photo was a coded endorsement.
