Spoilers: The Season 21 finale aired September 25, 2025. Freeform’s official materials confirm that three designers competed in it, but do not verify that their identities were accidentally revealed beforehand or say what supposedly exposed them.
Did Project Runway accidentally reveal the finalists?
That claim is not confirmed by the official materials available here. Freeform’s September 2025 programming announcement described a finale featuring “the final three designers,” but did not name them or report an accidental pre-finale reveal. Without a specific, verifiable teaser, image, credit, or other pre-finale item, the alleged leak remains unsubstantiated.
What is confirmed about the Season 21 finale?
Freeform’s August 2025 schedule listed the finale, “See You on the Runway,” for September 25, 2025. It said the final three designers would create capsule collections to compete for the win. That confirms the number of finalists and the finale’s format—not their identities or whether those identities were disclosed early.
What happened after the finale?
In a June 22, 2026 announcement about Season 22, Freeform identified Veejay Floresca as the Season 21 winner. That is retrospective confirmation of the result, not evidence that a pre-finale spoiler occurred. The official materials cited here do not establish the names of all three finalists.

What the official timeline shows
- March 24, 2025: Freeform announced Season 21’s judges—Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, and Law Roach—and mentor Christian Siriano, and said the season would air on Freeform and stream shortly after on Hulu and Disney+.
- August 1, 2025: Freeform’s September schedule announced the September 25 finale and described its final three designers.
- May 27, 2026: Freeform announced that Joseph McRae would return for Season 22 as a Season 21 designer. That later casting news does not document a Season 21 leak.
- June 22, 2026: Freeform called Veejay Floresca the Season 21 winner in a Season 22 update.
Where to watch Season 21
At the time of its March 2025 announcement, Freeform named Hulu and Disney+ as streaming outlets for Season 21, with episodes available shortly after their Freeform broadcast. That announcement does not establish current platform or episode availability, so check each service’s current listings before subscribing or searching for the season.
