The claim was attributed to an unnamed source associated with the show; neither the messages nor the account was independently confirmed in the reporting cited below.
What did the report claim?
PerthNow reported on 5 March 2021 that Kyrgios had reportedly been “sliding into the DMs” of Ora after her arrival in Sydney. The story attributed the allegation to an unnamed source from The Voice, quoted through The Daily Telegraph. In this context, “DMs” means direct messages.

The source described the exchange as flirtatious banter and said Ora was not taking it seriously. That is a second-hand characterization from an anonymous source, not a direct statement by Ora or Kyrgios. PerthNow’s report does not provide the exact messages.
Why was Ora in Sydney?
Contemporary coverage said Ora arrived in Sydney in early February 2021 for filming as a coach on the Australian version of The Voice. The Independent reported that she arrived on 1 February; PerthNow reported on 4 February that she had flown in ahead of filming and planned to spend a fortnight in quarantine. Those reports describe her 2021 trip, not current travel arrangements.

How well was the allegation verified?
Pedestrian.TV and Yahoo Sports also covered the claim on 5 and 4 March 2021, respectively, attributing it to The Daily Telegraph. Their reports show that the allegation circulated across outlets, but they trace back to the same report rather than offering independent confirmation of private messages.
The available accounts do not establish what, if anything, Kyrgios wrote, and they include no direct confirmation from either Kyrgios or Ora. The supported conclusion is limited: a March 2021 story reported the allegation and quoted an unnamed source describing the supposed exchange as unserious banter.
