Not literally. In a scripted Raw storyline before WrestleMania X8, Chris Jericho was involved in an angle where Triple H’s bulldog Lucy was accidentally run over by a limousine. The account of the scene says an unaware driver was behind the wheel—not Jericho.
What happened to Triple H’s dog Lucy?
Lucy was Triple H’s bulldog in the storyline surrounding his feud with Undisputed WWF Champion Chris Jericho and Stephanie McMahon. In the fictional divorce settlement between Triple H and Stephanie, Lucy was awarded to Stephanie. She later sent Jericho to walk the dog.

Jericho left Lucy tied to a limousine. An unaware driver moved the vehicle and accidentally ran her over, according to the episode account. The scene was part of the scripted wrestling story, not a real-world accident attributed to Jericho.
When did the angle air, and how did it connect to WrestleMania?
The incident aired on Raw on March 11, 2002, six days before WrestleMania X8 on March 17. The angle continued the conflict among Triple H, Stephanie, and Jericho; afterward, Triple H confronted Stephanie and Jericho struck him with a sledgehammer.

At WrestleMania X8, Jericho defended the Undisputed WWF Championship against Triple H. The Lucy scene was one part of the feud’s build, not an actual incident involving the wrestlers’ dog.

In a 2015 FOX Sports interview about his first Undisputed Championship run, Jericho recalled “the whole Lucy the Dog and that sort of stuff.” He said: “At the time, I didn’t think it was great but I didn’t really have any choice to go and change it.” That was Jericho’s retrospective view; it does not establish what the writers intended or how audiences responded.
