Yes. Charlie Hunnam said he performed full-frontal nudity at 18 while playing a 15-year-old on the British television series Queer as Folk. He also said censors would not allow that material to be shown on television. That distinction matters: his account confirms he filmed the nudity, but it does not establish exactly what viewers can see in every version of the series.
What Charlie Hunnam said
In a 2015 interview with Elle Canada, as quoted by Entertainment Tonight, Hunnam recalled: “I did full frontal when I was 18 on the TV show Queer as Folk. But because I was playing a 15-year-old character, the censorship people wouldn’t allow us to put it on TV.” Entertainment Tonight’s 2015 report is the source for this account.

His statement distinguishes between performing a scene and having the full-frontal material broadcast. The censorship explanation is Hunnam’s recollection; the report does not provide an independent censorship record or identify the episode.
Does that mean viewers can see him naked in the series?
Not necessarily. Hunnam said the full-frontal material was not allowed on television. The available reporting does not identify an episode, review the scene, or establish what appears in every release or version. It therefore supports an answer about what Hunnam says he filmed, not a definitive claim about the exact images viewers can see.

How he later described the experience
In a 2017 interview with The Guardian, Hunnam recalled “doing full frontal nudity with a man at the age of 18” while discussing whether later sexual material would faze him. The interview notes that he left Fifty Shades of Grey because of scheduling conflicts, not because he was uncomfortable with nudity. Read the 2017 Guardian interview.
In 2013, discussing the proposed Fifty Shades of Grey film, Hunnam described his early work on Queer as Folk as “a baptism of fire with regards to sexuality on camera.” The Guardian reported the remark from an Associated Press interview. The Guardian’s 2013 report provides that context.
