Why Marcia Cross has a different estimate elsewhere
The ranking is not a definitive league table of personal wealth. A late-2025 realestate.com.au article puts Cross’s estimated net worth at $20 million, rather than Just Jared’s $30 million. The two outlets’ estimates should remain separate: the available sources do not establish which, if either, is closer to her actual finances.

What the figures do—and do not—tell you
Net worth is not the same as salary or the value of a home. Realestate.com.au reports media estimates that Longoria, Hatcher, Huffman and Cross each earned $375,000 to more than $400,000 per episode in later seasons, and that Sheridan earned $175,000 per episode before her contract was not renewed. These are reported episode-pay figures, not net-worth calculations; they do not account for taxes, expenses, other income, assets or liabilities.
The same article discusses property transactions and holdings associated with the actresses. Purchases, sales and listing prices provide limited context, not a complete personal balance sheet: they do not establish current value, ownership share, debt or other financial obligations. For those reasons, neither reported salary nor property examples can verify the estimates in the table.

Who counts as “every housewife” here?
This comparison covers the eight principal or recurring actresses included in Just Jared’s 2025 ranking. The series premiered on ABC in 2004 and ran for eight seasons through 2012, but the actresses did not all play equal roles for the same length of time. Longoria, Hatcher, Huffman and Cross were the original central quartet; Strong, Sheridan, Delany and Williams are also included because their characters were part of the show’s housewife ensemble at different points.
