Derian House Children’s Hospice reported on 30 September 2026 that a documentary about life at its Chorley hospice had been shown on a big screen in London. Related coverage identifies the film as The Little Things, made about the hospice and the people connected to it. The available London announcement does not specify the venue, screening date, or audience.
What is known about the London screening
Derian House’s news index lists a 30 September 2026 item titled “Northern film challenging hospice care myths makes London big-screen debut.” Its summary says a documentary shining a light on life at the Chorley children’s hospice travelled to London and was shown on the big screen to colleagues from an unnamed group. The summary ends before identifying that group or providing further event details. Derian House news index
That wording confirms a screening report; it does not establish a theatrical release or a public cinema event. The index entry does not name the venue, give the precise screening date, identify the attendees, or say whether the screening was private or open to the public.
Which documentary is it?
Earlier Derian House coverage identifies the hospice-inspired documentary as The Little Things. The film follows stories and connections among families, staff, and volunteers at Derian House. That report names Thomas Elliott Griffiths as director, bereaved father and film producer Paul Woodward as the person who made the film, and actor and producer Steve Pemberton as executive producer. - 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The London index summary itself does not name The Little Things, so the identification comes from this related earlier coverage rather than the screening announcement.
The London screening was separate from the Bolton premiere
Derian House’s earlier report concerns a premiere in Bolton, not the London screening. It says 300 families and friends attended the Bolton event with Steve Pemberton. That attendance figure applies only to that premiere; the London announcement gives no comparable number. Derian House report on the Bolton premiere

The same earlier report includes Pemberton’s description of the film as “a deeply moving documentary film exploring the work done by children’s hospices, beautifully filmed at Derian House.” Derian House Chief Executive Karen Edwards called it “a powerful reminder of the difference hospice care makes, and we are so proud to share these stories with the world.” Both statements were made in connection with the earlier film coverage, not the London event.
