Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert Hough announced on July 22, 2025, that they were expecting their first child. Their daughter, Everley Capri Hough, was born on December 29, 2025, so the pregnancy announcement is now a past event.

The couple revealed the pregnancy in a joint Instagram video. They embraced, and Erbert showed sonogram images. The caption, attributed to her by ABC News, read: “We can’t believe the biggest thing to happen to us could be so small.”
When their daughter was born
In a report published January 5, 2026, ABC News reported that the couple had announced the arrival of their daughter, Everley Capri Hough, born December 29, 2025.
Hough and Erbert’s relationship timeline
Hough and Erbert became engaged in June 2022 and married on August 26, 2023, in Monterey County, California, according to ABC News. Their first-child announcement came nearly two years after their wedding.

In a July 2026 interview, the couple discussed life after welcoming Everley, according to Parade. A September 2026 profile described Hough balancing family life with work as a Dancing with the Stars judge and Extra host, and noted his partnership with Huggies for the #huggiesfirst campaign, according to TV Insider.
