What the first film covers
Infinity Castle I is the opening chapter of that final-arc film series. Because the story is split across three movies, it is not intended to conclude the entire manga adaptation in one release.
When is Infinity Castle 2 coming out?
There is no officially announced release date for Infinity Castle 2. Reports describing 2027 are speculation, not a confirmed schedule.

A September 17, 2027 date attached to an untitled Sony film distributed by Crunchyroll does not identify that film as Infinity Castle 2. Until the filmmakers, distributor or official Demon Slayer channels name a date, 2027 should be treated only as an unverified possibility.
How the first film performed theatrically
The first film received a major international rollout in 2025. In North America, it opened on September 12, 2025. The Associated Press reported on September 14, 2025, that Comscore estimated a $70 million North American opening, with the movie reaching No. 1 for the weekend.

You can watch the films as an anime continuation, but familiarity with the preceding arcs makes the final trilogy easier to follow. The films adapt the manga’s final arc, so readers who want the complete context should finish the earlier story before starting Infinity Castle I.
