The early-access offer was a limited U.S. theatrical preview on September 9, 2025—three days before the announced U.S. and Canada release. The catch: only Crunchyroll Mega and Ultimate Fan subscribers could buy preview tickets, and they had to verify their subscription through Fandango. The screenings have passed, so this is a historical offer, not current ticket advice.
What the early-access offer included
Crunchyroll and Fandango scheduled special screenings of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle for September 9, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. local time. Crunchyroll announced that more than 250 U.S. theaters would participate. That figure described the number of theaters, not the number of seats or tickets available.
In its August 14, 2025 announcement, updated August 16, Crunchyroll said tickets would be available through a Fandango rewards site beginning August 15 at 6:00 a.m. PT. Buyers had to verify their Crunchyroll subscriber status before purchasing.
Who qualified—and what was the catch?
The preview was exclusive to Crunchyroll Mega and Ultimate Fan subscribers in the United States. A subscription alone did not remove the ticketing step: eligible members had to verify their status through Fandango, then purchase tickets for a participating theater.

The announcement did not state a final seat allocation or a per-account ticket limit. A contemporaneous report also described availability as limited, but did not establish a specific quantity. No ticket price or membership price is established in the announcement.

Is early access still available?
No. As of October 8, 2026, both the September 9 preview and September 12 general-release dates are in the past. The announcement documents that promotion; it does not establish any current screenings, ticket availability, or present Crunchyroll subscription terms.

Infinity Castle is the first film in a planned trilogy adapting the manga’s final arc. Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced theatrical distribution outside Japan and select Asian territories in 2024. That broader franchise plan provides context, but the early-access promotion described here applied specifically to the first film’s U.S. preview screenings.
