The former Degrassi: The Next Generation cast has taken varied paths since the series: some continued acting, while others pursued music, online work, podcasting, or a more private life. This is a selective update on recognizable alumni, not a complete cast list; the career snapshots reflect public reporting available through October 2026.
Actors who continued on screen
Jake Epstein (Craig Manning)
Epstein continued acting after playing Craig, with television credits including Suits, Designated Survivor, and The Umbrella Academy. He has also worked in theatre. These are selected career credits, not a claim about his latest role. Looper’s 2026 cast overview and PopCulture.com’s 2023 roundup discuss his post-Degrassi work.
Stacey Farber (Ellie Nash)
Farber went on to television roles after the series. A Johnson Production Group press kit lists Virgin River and Superman & Lois among her credits; because the kit is older, those credits should not be read as her most recent work. The production press kit documents the selected credits.
Nina Dobrev (Mia Jones)
Dobrev moved from Degrassi into prominent television and film work, including The Vampire Diaries and later film roles. That describes her broader career path rather than an up-to-date project list. Looper’s 2026 overview and PopCulture.com’s 2023 roundup cover her subsequent work.

Raymond Ablack (Sav Bhandari)
Ablack continued screen acting, with selected credits including Orphan Black, Narcos, Maid, and Ginny & Georgia. These are examples from his career, not a complete or latest filmography. Looper’s 2026 cast overview traces his post-series roles.
Dalmar Abuzeid (Danny Van Zandt)
Abuzeid also continued television work after Degrassi; Anne with an E is among the later credits noted in Looper’s 2026 overview. The cited coverage does not establish a complete current filmography.

Music and creative work beyond acting
Drake / Aubrey Graham (Jimmy Brooks)
Graham became the cast’s most prominent music-industry success story as Drake. A November 2023 PopCulture.com roundup reported that he had four Grammy Awards at that time. That is a dated count, not a current 2026 total.
Shenae Grimes-Beech (Darcy Edwards)
Grimes-Beech’s post-series path has included television and online creator work, including a YouTube channel, according to Looper’s 2026 overview. The available account does not establish that a particular acting credit or creator project remains active today.

Other familiar alumni
A 2023 PopCulture.com cast roundup also follows Cassie Steele (Manny Santos), Shane Kippel (Spinner Mason), and Lauren Collins (Paige Michalchuck), recording earlier post-series career notes. Because that coverage is from 2023, it is best treated as a historical snapshot rather than a definitive account of their current work.
A quieter public profile
Melissa McIntyre (Ashley Kerwin)
Looper’s 2026 overview describes McIntyre as having stepped away from acting and maintaining a private profile; it also notes her later appearance in Drake’s “I’m Upset” video. Public coverage does not provide a basis for claims about her occupation, location, or private life.

What this snapshot can—and cannot—tell you
The alumni’s paths range from sustained screen careers to music, online creation, podcasting, and a more private life. The available coverage is selective and uneven: it supports useful career landmarks, but not a comprehensive current status for every cast member. For a deeper look at the franchise itself, a 2005 book titled The Official 411 Degrassi Generations, attributed in a timeline search result to Kathryn Ellis, is referenced as a guidebook; its current edition and availability have not been established.
