Dean Martin had seven biological children and one adopted daughter, for a total of eight. His first wife, Elizabeth McDonald, was the mother of Craig, Claudia, Gail and Deana; his second wife, Jeanne Beigger, was the mother of Dean Paul, Ricci and Gina. During his third marriage, Martin adopted Sasha, the daughter of Catherine Hawn. That distinction explains why some accounts list seven children while others give the inclusive total of eight.

Craig
Craig was Martin and McDonald’s son. The Los Angeles Times obituary says he worked as a producer on his father’s television show.
Claudia
Claudia was one of Martin and McDonald’s daughters. The cited accounts identify her as part of the family but do not provide further biographical detail for this article.

Gail
Gail was another daughter of Martin and McDonald. She is also included in a family portrait caption published by the Dean Martin Association.
Deana
Deana was Martin and McDonald’s daughter. In a December 2024 Dean Martin Association feature, she recalled: “My dad was a great man, but even more, he was a wonderful father. He had this ability to make everyone feel special.” The recollection is Deana’s own, not a statement attributed to all of her siblings.

His children with Jeanne Beigger
Dean Paul (“Dino”)
Dean Paul, known as Dino, was Martin and Beigger’s son. He acted and was a member of the 1960s music group Dino, Desi and Billy. He died in 1987 when his Air National Guard jet crashed during a training flight, according to the Los Angeles Times obituary.
Ricci
Ricci was Martin and Beigger’s son. The Dean Martin Association feature quotes him recalling his father: “Dad had a charm that was infectious. He taught us to enjoy life and to laugh every day.”

Gina
Gina was Martin and Beigger’s daughter. The Dean Martin Association’s family portrait caption includes her among the seven children shown with Jeanne.
Sasha, Martin’s adopted daughter
Sasha was Catherine Hawn’s daughter, whom Martin adopted during their marriage, according to Biography.com. The cited biographical accounts do not provide further personal or career details that would support a fuller profile here.

Why some accounts say seven and others say eight
The difference is whether the count includes Sasha, whom Martin adopted. The Los Angeles Times obituary enumerates the four children with McDonald and three with Beigger; Biography.com supplies the adoption detail. The Dean Martin Association’s family portrait caption lists seven children with Jeanne, so it is not a complete roster of all eight.

Martin’s children appeared on The Dean Martin Show. The Dean Martin Association feature describes family performances and includes recollections from Deana and Ricci. Its portrait caption is useful context for the seven children with Jeanne, but the adoption account is needed to understand the full eight-child count.
