How does the island game work?
Contestants search the island for hidden briefcases and compete in challenges to secure cases for that episode’s Deal or No Deal game. The contestant who finds the highest-value case wins immunity and chooses someone to enter The Temple. A bad deal means immediate elimination; a good deal gives the player the power to choose who goes home. Winnings add to a growing group pot, and the last contestant standing faces the Banker for the potential final prize.
Who hosts Season 2, and where can you watch?
Joe Manganiello returned as host and game master. Banijay Americas says Manganiello and Howie Mandel executive produce, with Endemol Shine North America producing the series. NBC is the network, and Peacock’s show page identifies the service as a streaming destination and catalogs the series. Its Season 2 page lists the season’s episodes.

- DVD Interactive
- For 1 or more players
Peacock says filming took place in an undisclosed location in the Panama Islands. The briefcases represent more than $200 million in prize money across the island game, according to Peacock and Banijay Americas; that is the overall briefcase value, not a stated Season 2 winner’s payout.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What Season 1 figures did the producers report?
Banijay Americas’ October 10, 2024 press release reported that Season 1 drew 30 million total viewers across linear and digital platforms and averaged 5.8 million total viewers across all platforms. The release does not provide detailed methodology for those audience counts, so they are best read as publisher-reported figures. It also said Season 1 winner Jordan Fowler played for $13,857,000; that figure refers to Fowler’s potential prize, not a general Season 2 prize amount.
