Its outrageous visual concept is what made it memorable; the available coverage establishes the design and launch context, not a hands-on verdict about how well it holds or serves popcorn. Current stock and resale prices are unverified.
What was the AMC Wolverine popcorn bucket?
AMC’s collectible was shaped around Wolverine’s mouth, with the suggestive design framed as one of Deadpool’s ideas. TheWrap covered the promotional reveal on May 30, 2024, describing the mouth-inspired concept: TheWrap’s reveal coverage. A contemporary merchandise guide reported AMC’s announced availability date of July 25, 2024: ComingSoon’s theater-merchandise guide.
That combination of a recognizable character and an intentionally absurd shape explains the “spectacular” appeal: it was designed to be a conversation piece as much as a movie concession collectible. That is a judgment about the concept, not a claim based on product testing.
Which theater released this version?
The Wolverine-mouth bucket was AMC’s item, not a generic name for every Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn container. Other chains promoted their own film merchandise, including separate offerings from Regal, Cinemark, and Alamo Drafthouse. Chain and design matter when identifying a collectible; a film-logo tin or another character-themed vessel is not automatically the AMC Wolverine-mouth bucket.

Release-period trade coverage discussed movie-themed concession vessels selling out, and quoted Alamo Drafthouse’s chief marketing officer Chaya Rosenthal in connection with Alamo’s own Deadpool & Wolverine bucket, which reportedly sold out “almost instantly.” That report concerns Alamo’s item, not AMC’s, and does not establish how quickly AMC’s bucket sold: Boxoffice Pro’s coverage of movie-theater popcorn buckets.

Its July 2024 release date is historical, not evidence that an official retailer currently has it in stock. Current inventory, marketplace authenticity, and resale prices have not been verified, so no present-day price or seller can be recommended here.

If you find a listing, check that it shows the AMC Wolverine-mouth design rather than another film-related container. Review the seller, item condition, and photos carefully; a listing for a different chain’s product or a simple logo tin is not the same collectible.

The coverage supports the bucket’s promotional design and collectible context. It does not establish practical details such as popcorn capacity, ease of scooping, cleaning, durability, or whether the item stands securely on display. Without a reliable hands-on assessment, the safest conclusion is that its appeal is clear from the concept, while everyday usability remains unverified.
