What is the DC x Sonic the Hedgehog comic about?
DC’s collected-edition synopsis sets up a dimensional invasion: Darkseid crosses into Sonic’s world seeking ultimate power, and the Justice League arrives to help Sonic and his friends. The DC Publicity and SEGA of America announcement described the story as “an unprecedented crossover event where the Justice League and Team Sonic must unite to save their worlds from a major threat.”

How many issues are there, and when were they released?
DC and SEGA announced a five-issue monthly series, planned to run from March through July 2025. DC later reported that issue #1 was published on March 19, 2025, and issue #2 reached stores on April 16, 2025. DC’s report said the first issue had sold out at the distributor level at that time; that announcement does not establish current availability, scarcity, or resale value.

Was this only a comic-book collaboration?
No. The September 2024 announcement also described plans for a consumer-products collection spanning apparel, toys, collectibles, and other categories. It established intended product categories, but did not confirm the current availability of any particular item.
