- Lilo?s an independent little girl; Stitch is a mischievous creature from outer space, and when their worlds collide, it?s love ? and chaos! ? at first sight.
It is a brief part, but the moment is visible and closely tied to the film’s Hawaii setting. Bell’s casting also connected the production to local performers and helped make his final screen credit recognizable to audiences.

Obituary reporting listed Bell among the performers who appeared in Hawaii Five-0 and Magnum P.I., two series filmed substantially in Hawaii.

Voice and community work
Bell also worked in voiceover. He served as a brand ambassador for Kona Brewing Company and voiced announcements for Kona International Airport, giving him a familiar presence beyond scripted acting.
What has been reported about his cause of death?
Later reporting in August 2025 about an autopsy record said the document listed four pathological diagnoses: acute respiratory failure, sepsis, hypertensive/atherosclerotic heart disease and morbid obesity.

Those reports did not state a definitive exact cause or manner of death. The diagnoses should therefore not be presented as a confirmed causal chain, and no independent conclusion should be drawn from any one of them. The most precise account is that reporting on the released record identified these medical diagnoses while leaving the exact cause and manner unspecified.

Bell’s visibility in Lilo & Stitch introduced him to a global film audience, but his career also reflected the local entertainment, tourism and business communities of Hawaii. His television work, voice performances and public-facing roles in Kona formed a broader professional life than the brief movie appearance alone suggests.
