Reiko Kashima is the strongest character on this list through Chapter 71 if battlefield control, durability, and demonstrated threat are weighted alongside raw force. That is an editorial judgment, not a canon ranking: Dandadan mixes yokai, aliens, psychic abilities, borrowed powers, and technology, so matchup and circumstances can change who has the advantage.
This spoiler-marked ranking follows the feat scope of a published comparison that ends at Season 2/Chapter 71. The manga remains ongoing, and VIZ lists new simulpub chapters, so later developments may change the order. [Comparison through Chapter 71; VIZ series page]

How this Dandadan strength ranking works
There is no single useful number that measures every fighter in Dandadan. This list weighs demonstrated combat results, ability range and scale, reliability, limitations, and the way the story frames each threat. It also distinguishes peak forms from constrained states, and equipment or host-dependent power from abilities a character can use on their own.
The placements below are an editorial shortlist and relative judgment based on feats through Chapter 71—not an official canon order. A fighter with less destructive force may still win through speed, control, tactics, or a favorable matchup.

#1 Best Overall
The 10 strongest Dandadan characters through Chapter 71
1. Reiko Kashima
Reiko’s Mirror Prison gives her a kind of battlefield control that raw striking power cannot capture, while her durability is highlighted in her clash with Vamola’s kaiju suit. Those traits make her the strongest pick here under a ranking that values control and resilience as well as damage. They do not prove she would beat every other character in every situation.
2. Evil Eye
The Evil Eye’s destructive power is tied to compressed grudges, and its possession of Jiji makes it a particularly dangerous threat. Its position reflects the scale of that danger, but the host relationship and the circumstances required to contain or overcome it matter when judging a direct matchup.
3. Turbo Granny
In her combat form, Turbo Granny combines supernatural speed with close-range strength. A separate luck-related ability is associated with her sealed-in-a-doll state; those circumstances should not be blended into a claim that she has all of her peak combat capabilities at once.
Rank #2
4. Vamola
Vamola’s kaiju-sized battlesuit supplies immense scale and strength, and her fight with Reiko shows why she belongs near the top. This placement counts access to the suit. It is a major advantage, but it also means her ranking depends on equipment availability rather than only on her unaided abilities.
5. Okarun (Ken Takakura)
Okarun’s temporary “All Out” mode draws on Turbo Granny’s power and lets him reach a high level of performance, including in a fight with the Evil Eye. That peak burst should be judged separately from his baseline: duration and stamina constrain how much it tells us about a prolonged fight.
6. Momo Ayase
Momo’s inherited telekinesis offers control and practical versatility, and her tactical improvisation can matter more than raw output in a particular encounter. Her power varies, so a simple lifting-strength comparison would miss the ways she can shape a fight.
Rank #3
7. Seiko Ayase
Seiko has demonstrated speed and physical strength, including combat performance against the Evil Eye. The feats support a high placement, but the source and limits of her capabilities remain unclear within this ranking’s Chapter 71 scope.
8. Kinta Sakata
Kinta uses nanoskin technology to create large mechanical forms, weapons, and vehicles. That makes his potential unusually dependent on what material and equipment he can access, as well as how much time he has to deploy it. His toolkit can be formidable without being as immediately available as an intrinsic power.
9. Aira Shiratori
Aira’s hair-based weaponry, agility, and mobility are linked to Acrobatic Silky. She can contribute meaningfully in group fights, but mobility and team value are different measures from solo destructive output; this placement weighs both without treating them as interchangeable.
Rank #4
10. The Serpo
The Serpo bring psychic and technological capabilities, but their full combat capacity is not established by the feats in this scope. They are a reasonable inclusion in an editorial top ten, with more uncertainty than the characters above them—not a firmly measured ceiling on what they can do.
Is Momo or Okarun stronger?
There is no context-free answer in this ranking. Okarun’s temporary All Out mode gives him a high-performance burst, while Momo’s telekinesis and improvisation offer control and tactical options. The comparison changes with Okarun’s mode and stamina, the situation Momo can exploit, and the kind of victory condition involved. In a brief contest of peak physical performance, Okarun’s burst matters; in a fight where positioning and control are decisive, Momo’s abilities may matter more.

Okarun led the 2024 official character popularity poll with 38,699 votes; Momo received 25,763 and Turbo Granny 22,920. ORICON reported these as audience votes, not combat measurements, so they cannot establish a strongest-character ranking. [ORICON poll results]
