Crunchyroll Game Vault is included with Mega Fan, Ultimate Fan and Annual Mega Fan memberships. Open the Crunchyroll app, choose the Game Vault section, select a title and download it through your phone or tablet’s app store. The often-cited “more titles soon” announcement dates from July 2025; the catalog continued expanding afterward, with Crunchyroll announcing a goal of 100 titles by summer 2026. Availability still varies by territory, device and release status.
What Crunchyroll Game Vault includes
Game Vault is a catalog of mobile games attached to a qualifying Crunchyroll subscription, not a separate storefront where you buy each game. Crunchyroll describes the included games as ad-free and without microtransactions, although newer releases and individual territory listings should be checked for their specific terms. The entitlement remains tied to the active subscription rather than creating permanent ownership of a separately purchased copy. See Crunchyroll’s Game Vault definition.
The service opened in November 2023 for Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan members. Crunchyroll’s later catalog coverage says expansion continued toward an announced target of 100 titles by summer 2026; that target is a plan, not proof that every title was available in every country.
Which Crunchyroll plans qualify?

Having a Crunchyroll Premium account by itself is not enough. Confirm the account is actually subscribed to Mega Fan, Ultimate Fan or Annual Mega Fan in your region. Sources: eligible-plan documentation and access troubleshooting.

Titles announced in the 2025 summer lineup
Crunchyroll’s July 8, 2025 announcement used “upcoming” and “pre-registration” language. Those labels describe the announcement at that date, not guaranteed availability in the current app.

Classroom of the Elite
The mobile adaptation opened pre-registration on June 18, 2025 and launched in Game Vault on July 5, 2025. It uses visual-novel-style choices, class-point management, alliances and school rivalries. Sources: pre-registration announcement and launch announcement.
What the later catalog added
Crunchyroll’s later Game Vault guide identified Dungeons of Hinterberg as a newer release and listed Bananya Buddies for pre-registration with a summer 2026 launch window. Bananya Buddies was listed with English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Latin America) and Spanish (Spain) support. The guide also warns that territorial exclusions apply, including selected European and Asian territories.

Because catalogs and launch dates change, use the app’s current listing to determine whether a title is playable, still in pre-registration, unavailable in your country or no longer listed. The catalog guide is at Crunchyroll’s Game Vault games list.
How to install and play a Game Vault title
- Confirm that your Crunchyroll account has Mega Fan, Ultimate Fan or Annual Mega Fan.
- Sign in to the Crunchyroll mobile app with that same account.
- Open the Crunchyroll Game Vault section.
- Select a game and continue to your device’s Apple App Store or Google Play listing.
- Download and install the game.
- Open it and follow any sign-in or entitlement prompt using the qualifying Crunchyroll account.
The Crunchyroll app is the discovery and entitlement entry point; the actual download is handled by the device’s app store. These steps are described in Crunchyroll’s Game Vault coverage.

Why a qualifying subscriber may not see a game
- Wrong account: Sign out and verify that the app uses the email attached to the Mega Fan or Ultimate Fan subscription.
- Upgrade not yet recognized: Allow the plan change to propagate, then restart the app.
- Territory restriction: A title can be listed by Crunchyroll yet excluded in your country.
- App or device issue: Update the Crunchyroll app and the device operating system, and check the title’s compatibility.
- Status changed: A news article may describe pre-registration or an intended release rather than a currently playable game.
If those checks do not resolve the problem, contact Crunchyroll support with the game title, email on the Premium account, device model, operating-system version and a screenshot or recording. Crunchyroll’s troubleshooting page is here.

Mega Fan is the practical entry point if Game Vault is the main reason to upgrade. In the United States, Crunchyroll’s plan page showed a regular Mega Fan price of $13.99 per month and a $2.99-per-month-for-three-months promotion for select new or returning subscribers on August 16, 2026; promotions, taxes, eligibility and regional prices change. Ultimate Fan makes sense for its additional streaming, Manga and store benefits, not because Game Vault access is exclusive to it. Annual Mega Fan is eligible, but no reliable current U.S. annual price is established here. Remember that Game Vault access ends if the qualifying membership ends, and a mobile entitlement does not automatically provide a Steam, PlayStation, Xbox or Switch copy.
Bottom line for prospective subscribers
Check the current Game Vault catalog and your territory before upgrading for one specific title. If you also want Crunchyroll’s ad-free anime and offline viewing, Mega Fan is the lowest clearly identified tier that combines those benefits with the mobile-game catalog; choose Ultimate Fan only when its broader membership features justify the extra cost.
