The relationship ended in November 2024, but Paige DeSorbo announced it on December 30; Craig first addressed the split publicly on January 7, 2025, and gave his clearest explanation about the rumors on Watch What Happens Live on February 6.
When did Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo break up?
DeSorbo said they broke up over Thanksgiving weekend in November 2024. Conover described a call after Thanksgiving in which she told him she thought they had to break up. He said he initially thought she was having a bad night, then understood that she wanted the breakup to be final. The accounts are their descriptions of the same period, not a minute-by-minute record of the conversation.
They did not announce the split until later. On December 30, DeSorbo told listeners of her Giggly Squad podcast that they had been apart for about a month. She said there had been no major event behind her decision.
What did Craig say about staying silent?
On January 7, 2025, Conover made his first public comments about the breakup. He called it unexpected and said, “I am still processing everything.” He also asked people to be kind to both of them and said he hoped to speak more later. Bravo’s January 7 recap reported those remarks.

His more direct explanation came during his February 6 appearance on Watch What Happens Live. Conover said he had not commented on the rumors because “I’m the ex-boyfriend now moving on with my life.” He also said he did not want to reveal the breakup in an interview while he was still processing it—by saying, “By the way, I think Paige just broke up with me.”
As recounted by Bravo’s February 7 recap, Conover’s explanation came against the backdrop of shared plans, including discussions about moving to New York. His point was that he had not wanted to make a private, unsettled breakup public in the middle of an interview, and he did not see himself as responsible for addressing rumors after the relationship ended.

What did Paige and Craig say about cheating?
On her podcast, DeSorbo denied that she had physically or emotionally cheated during the relationship. She said, “No one was blindsided, no one was cheated on,” and reiterated that there had been no major event behind her decision to end the relationship. Bravo recapped her comments on February 4, 2025, in its coverage of the breakup and rumors.
Conover separately denied infidelity in the relationship. Those statements document what the former partners said publicly; they do not independently verify every private detail or resolve every interpretation of events.

What was the later dispute about texting?
In later 2025 coverage, DeSorbo said she had seen Conover texting hearts to another woman and wondered whether she should have ended the relationship at that point. Conover denied cheating and said the alleged texting was not the cause of their split. Bravo’s later account of the disputed claim and response presents two attributed accounts, not an independently established finding.
That later disagreement is distinct from Conover’s explanation for his initial silence: he said he was processing the breakup and moving on, rather than taking ownership of rumors about the relationship after it ended.
