How to watch the January 1 quarterfinals
Because the Peach Bowl and Rose Bowl have not yet been assigned to specific windows, viewers cannot determine the required channel from the bowl name alone. Check the final CFP schedule after Selection Day.
- Noon ET: TNT, truTV, and HBO Max.
- 4 p.m. ET: ABC and ESPN.
- 8 p.m. ET: ESPN.
Games carried on ESPN networks will be available through the ESPN App, subject to the applicable provider authentication or access requirements. The noon game will also stream on HBO Max along with its TNT/truTV distribution.
If you use a live-TV bundle or another streaming provider, check its current local and national channel lineup before the game. The CFP announcement identifies the official networks and streaming services, but it does not guarantee that every third-party provider carries every channel in every location, nor does it establish current prices or subscription terms.

Why older search results may show a different bowl arrangement
The CFP bowl rotation changes from season to season. In the completed 2025–26 playoff, the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl were quarterfinals on January 1, 2026, while the Peach Bowl was a semifinal on January 9, 2026. That schedule does not apply to the 2026–27 playoff.
For the current cycle, the simple guide is:
- January 1, 2027: Peach Bowl quarterfinal and Rose Bowl quarterfinal.
- January 15, 2027: Sugar Bowl semifinal.
