The West Australian reported that a limited number of Infinity Tickets would be released for the 18 and 19 November dates. The exact Perth release date, sale time and allocation were not established in the sources reviewed.
What the $40 Perth ticket offer covered
Coldplay announced an Optus Stadium performance for 18 November 2023, initially describing it as an Australian-exclusive date. After strong demand, a second Perth show was announced for 19 November. The West Australian reported that a limited number of Infinity Tickets would later be released for the two shows at $40 each. That price is a contemporaneous report about the Perth offer, not a current ticket price. The West Australian’s report covered the second date and the offer.
Coldplay’s official event pages list the 18 November show with Amy Shark, Thelma Plum and Adrian Dzvuke, and the 19 November show with Tash Sultana, Thelma Plum and King Ibis. Both pages now say “SOLD OUT.” Coldplay’s official tour listings provide the event details.
How to get Coldplay Infinity Tickets in Perth
You cannot buy these as a current offer: they relate to the completed 2023 shows. The sources reviewed do not establish the exact Perth Infinity Ticket onsale date or time, the number of tickets, their seating allocation, or detailed purchase terms. There is no reliable basis for filling those gaps with terms from a different Coldplay tour.

Why later Infinity Ticket terms do not apply
Coldplay’s 19 November 2023 announcement for separate Australia and New Zealand tour dates stated that those 2024 Infinity Tickets would cost AUD $32 or NZD $32 per ticket, with a two-ticket-per-purchaser limit and purchases required in pairs. Those details belong to the later tour, not the earlier Perth offer. Coldplay’s announcement for the later Australia and New Zealand dates sets out those terms.
Current status and ticket-safety context
As of 8 October 2026, Coldplay’s official pages mark both 2023 Perth dates sold out. Ticketmaster Australia currently lists no upcoming Coldplay concerts, and Live Nation Australia shows no Coldplay events on sale. A resale listing is not evidence that the original $40 offer remains available. Ticketmaster Australia’s Coldplay listing advises buyers to use Ticketmaster for events sold through it; Live Nation Australia’s Coldplay page shows its current event status.

Before the 2023 sales, the Western Australian Government warned fans about scalping and ticket scams. Its notice described state rules and said resale markups above 10 percent could be reported for investigation. That was a 2023 notice, not confirmation of current legal requirements; check current government guidance before relying on it. The government’s 2023 warning provides the historical context.

In its 9 May 2023 announcement, the Government of Western Australia said the Music of the Spheres World Tour had sold more than six million tickets across Europe, North America and Latin America since it began in March 2022. That figure was attributed to the government’s 2023 release. The same release quoted Coldplay singer Chris Martin—not Premier Mark McGowan—as saying: “We are so excited that we will be coming through Perth for one concert at Optus Stadium on November 18 this year and we really look forward to seeing you.” The announcement records the initial date and quote; Coldplay’s tour page lists the subsequent Perth dates.
