The original home was later demolished, and the residence described in a 2025 listing report was built in 2003—so it is a replacement house, not the home Leachman lived in. Mansion Global reported an asking price of $19.995 million on December 3, 2025; that is a dated listing figure, not a confirmed current price or proof that the property still needs a buyer.
Has Cloris Leachman’s former estate found a buyer?
The available reporting establishes that the property was listed, but does not establish a later sale or its current listing status. The latest dated listing report identified here was published by Mansion Global on December 3, 2025. No subsequent sale or price change is confirmed in the available record as of October 8, 2026, so it would be inaccurate to say either that the home is still for sale or that it has sold.
Mansion Global reported the asking price as $19.995 million in December 2025. The figure is the price reported at that time; it should not be treated as a current asking price.
What is the property like?
Mansion Global’s listing coverage described a 10,595-square-foot residence on a 0.94-acre lot, with six bedrooms, six full bathrooms and one partial bathroom. Reported amenities included a pool and spa, home theater, wine cellar, gyms, billiards room, koi pond, office, soundproof playroom and three-car garage.

The house was designed by architect Lise Claiborne Matthews, according to the property coverage. In October 2025, listing agents Sally Forster Jones and Kathryn Perkins of Compass were identified in coverage; Mansion Global specifically quoted Perkins. She described the setting this way: “The home is up a long private drive, and it feels like you’re well removed from L.A.”

Leachman and Englund owned the Mandeville Canyon property from 1971 to 2000. The home they occupied was demolished. The residence featured in the later listing report was completed in 2003, after their ownership ended. The site therefore carries a connection to Leachman’s life in Los Angeles, but the reported mansion and its amenities belong to a later chapter of the property’s history.
Leachman, an actor whose film and television career included an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for The Last Picture Show, lived at the property during the period when she and Englund owned it. That biographical connection does not make the present-day house the residence in which she lived.
