Clipse’s reunion album, Let God Sort Em Out, brought brothers Pusha T and Malice back together after more than 15 years without a joint album. Released July 11, 2025, the 13-track, 40-minute record reunites them with longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams, while making Malice’s faith and the brothers’ changed lives part of the story.
What is Let God Sort Em Out?
It is Clipse’s first joint album in more than 15 years, according to the Associated Press. Apple Music lists a July 11, 2025 release date, 13 songs and a 40-minute duration, with credits for Clipse, Pusha T and Malice. The long gap gives the reunion context: the brothers return to a group identity shaped by their earlier work, but with years of separate experience behind them.
Pharrell and the album’s guests
Pharrell Williams, a longtime Clipse collaborator, produced the album and helped bring the brothers back together, GRAMMY.com reports. The guest lineup also connects the duo’s return to a wider contemporary rap landscape.
- Kendrick Lamar appears on “Chains & Whips.”
- Tyler, the Creator, Nas, John Legend, The-Dream, Ab-Liva and Stove God Cooks also contribute to the album.
The guest list is substantial, but the reunion’s center remains the brothers’ two voices: the record’s significance comes from hearing them work together again, not simply from the names around them.

Malice’s faith and the meaning of the reunion
Malice’s return to Clipse carries a personal tension: his Christian faith is now central to how he understands his life, while the group’s established identity is tied to music he made before that change. In an interview with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden, he put the connection plainly: “It is because of my faith that I’m sitting here with you right now.”
The FADER explores Malice’s long process of reconciling faith with the music that made him known. GRAMMY.com highlights confessions alongside incisive bars, while The Guardian describes the album as taking Clipse into new emotional territory. Those are critical interpretations rather than a single settled reading; together, they point to the record’s central contrast between familiar rap technique and more personal reflection.

How critics frame the comeback
Reviews of the album can be read through four useful questions: how sharp the writing and storytelling are, how Pharrell’s production serves the duo, how the familiar subject matter sits alongside personal reflection, and whether the reunion feels artistically necessary rather than merely nostalgic. Pitchfork, The Guardian and The FADER offer distinct perspectives on those questions. The Guardian’s emphasis on emotional reach complements the FADER’s attention to Malice’s faith, while GRAMMY.com draws attention to the combination of confession and incisive bars. These judgments belong to the publications; they should not be mistaken for a unanimous critical verdict.
