What did Claudia Schiffer wear?
InStyle, in coverage syndicated via Yahoo News, described Schiffer’s outfit as a black velvet gown with a high neckline, padded shoulders and a front slit. The report said beading and jewel embellishments ran along the sleeves and midsection, and that she wore pointed-toe kitten heels. These are details from fashion coverage; the Royal Family’s account confirms the banquet, not her clothing.
Although the original headline calls the look an “LBD,” the report describes a gown. “Black embellished velvet gown” is the more precise description. The coverage does not identify a designer or exact model, so neither can be confirmed from the available reporting.
