Chumel Torres afirmó en enero de 2025 que la demanda de Gloria Trevi relacionada con “Todos me miran” ya se había cancelado. La declaración fue difundida por varios medios, pero no se hizo público un documento oficial que confirme cómo se cerró el procedimiento o cuáles fueron sus términos.
Qué dijo Chumel Torres sobre la demanda
Durante un encuentro con la prensa reportado el 27 y 28 de enero de 2025, Torres dijo que la demanda ya no estaba activa. Por qué surgió el conflicto por “Todos me miran”
La disputa inmediata se relacionó con el uso que Torres habría hecho en 2023 de una versión con letra modificada de “Todos me miran”, en un segmento crítico del político Manuel Velasco. Qué se reportó sobre los 500,000 pesos
En marzo de 2024, medios informaron que el equipo legal de Trevi sostenía que había obtenido una resolución favorable y que Torres debía pagar 500,000 pesos como reparación y retirar videos. Esa cifra y las medidas se atribuyeron a la postura de los representantes de Trevi; no se localizó la resolución primaria para verificar sus alcances. Torres respondió entonces, según la cobertura de El Universal, que no debía pagar esa cantidad. El Universal Milenio
Por tanto, los reportes no permiten afirmar que Torres haya pagado los 500,000 pesos, ni que esa cantidad siguiera siendo una obligación después del cierre que él anunció.

La declaración no aclara otros conflictos anteriores
La cobertura también alude a un desacuerdo anterior que habría comenzado en 2022 por publicaciones de Torres sobre el caso Trevi-Andrade y que se relacionó con una reclamación por daño moral. Las fuentes no documentan que ese asunto y la disputa por la canción siguieran la misma vía ni que quedaran resueltos por un solo acuerdo.
