Chipotle has documented a Celebrity Card, but its best-defined public offer was a limited 2024 contest—not an open-ended promise of free food. Five winners could receive one free meal per day for a year at participating U.S. Chipotle restaurants, plus one catering order for up to 50 people. The card’s terms do not establish perks at 14 other restaurant chains, so this explainer sticks to what Chipotle itself published.
What Chipotle’s Celebrity Card offered
Chipotle’s official rules for its 2024 contest offered five prizes, each consisting of one Celebrity Card. Under those rules, a card provided one free meal per day for one year at participating Chipotle restaurants in the United States, along with one catering order for up to 50 people. Chipotle assigned each card an approximate retail value of $20,000; that is the company’s stated contest valuation, not an independently calculated value or a universal valuation for every card it has issued. Read the official 2024 contest rules.

What counted as a meal
The rules defined a meal as one regular entrée, one side, and one non-alcoholic drink. The daily meal benefit was subject to participating-location limits; it should not be read as a guarantee that every Chipotle location would accept the card.
The catering benefit
The card also included one catering order for up to 50 people. The rules required at least three business days’ advance notice for catering.

How to get a Chipotle Celebrity Card
Chipotle’s June 24, 2024 announcement said the company had primarily gifted Celebrity Cards for more than 20 years to athletes, artists, musicians, or influencers who expressed a passion for the brand. For the 2024 campaign, it opened a contest application to fans through LinkedIn Easy Apply, with up to five people to be selected. Chipotle’s announcement described the campaign.
The official rules set the contest period as June 24 through July 3, 2024. That window has passed; the announcement and rules do not establish that applications are open now or that Chipotle runs a standing public application process. The contest rules stated: “NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.”

Is the Celebrity Card part of Chipotle Rewards?
No such connection is stated in the cited program materials. Chipotle Rewards is a separate points-based program in which members earn points and exchange them for available rewards. Its Rewards page and Rewards terms do not say that ordinary membership grants a Celebrity Card or its contest benefits.

The available verified evidence supports the Chipotle details above, but does not identify or substantiate 14 other restaurant chains with comparable celebrity food perks. That does not prove no such arrangements exist; it means their names, eligibility rules, benefits, duration, and geographic limits cannot responsibly be presented here as established facts. Celebrity access anecdotes also are not automatically equivalent to a publicly documented program.

To compare another restaurant’s perk fairly, look for dated, reliable evidence that identifies how someone qualifies, what food or discount is included, how long the benefit lasts, and which locations honor it. The 2024 Chipotle contest rules are specific to that campaign and do not establish a standard policy for every Celebrity Card ever issued.
