Streams change over time, so this is a dated snapshot rather than a definitive ranking of popularity across platforms.
How this ranking measures “biggest”
“Biggest” can refer to streams, chart peak, time on a chart, or certification, and those measures do not necessarily produce the same order. The list is ranked by the Spotify totals reported by third-party tracker Kworb in its October 6, 2026 update. Chart results are included as context, not folded into the ranking. The billing shown matters: some entries are Puth-led songs, while others are tracks by another lead artist featuring him.

Stream counts in every row are Kworb-reported Spotify totals from its October 6, 2026 snapshot, not figures published directly by Spotify. The figures are cumulative, and the tracker’s Puth-associated ranking includes featured appearances.
Chart successes that add context to the stream order
“See You Again” was a major chart hit as well as a streaming leader
Although “See You Again” ranks third here by Puth-associated Spotify streams, it is billed to Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth. The Official Charts Company lists it at No. 1 in the UK, with 38 weeks on the chart. Its chart history makes it a standout, but it should not be described as a Charlie Puth solo single.

“Marvin Gaye” also reached No. 1 in the UK
Charlie Puth featuring Meghan Trainor’s “Marvin Gaye” reached No. 1 on the UK Official Singles Chart and spent 33 weeks there, according to the Official Charts Company. It is a notable chart success, though it does not appear among the eight stream totals listed above.
“Attention” combined a high stream total with a strong U.S. peak
“Attention” reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. A Live Nation release from December 2017 described it as Puth’s highest-charting solo track at that time; that is a dated comparison, not a claim about his standing today.
Rank #2
- Whatever’s Clever! – the 4th studio album by Charlie Puth, on classic black vinyl. Includes an 18x24 poster. Charlie Puth steps into his own with his fourth and best studio album; Whatever’s Clever! Puth shines in an entirely new light with esteemed co-producers Blood Pop and Jimmy Jam at the helm, as the internationally acclaimed artist and multi-instrumentalist creates his bravest, boldest and most honest work to date. What the numbers do—and do not—say
- They compare one platform. The order reflects Spotify streams reported by Kworb, not combined listening across services, radio airplay, sales, or every measure of success.
- They are time-sensitive. A cumulative stream count can rise, so the numbers and ordering should be read as the tracker’s October 6, 2026 snapshot.
- Featured songs count. The list includes recordings where Puth is a guest, which is why Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” appears alongside Puth-led releases.
- Chart territory matters. The “See You Again” and “Marvin Gaye” peak and chart-week figures above are UK results from the Official Charts Company; “Attention”’s No. 5 peak is a U.S. Billboard Hot 100 result cited by Live Nation.
- Spotify’s all-time top 20 is a different comparison. Spotify’s published global top 20 list, using data as of April 2026, contains no Charlie Puth entry. That does not mean his songs lack billions of streams; it only describes that bounded top-20 list.
RIAA annual award PDFs can provide historical certification milestones, but the records consulted do not establish each track’s latest certification level. No current comprehensive certification comparison is included here.
