Chanel West Coast has publicly said she had liposuction after giving birth to her daughter in 2022. She described the procedure as difficult and its recovery as lengthy, while also saying she believes she could eventually have regained her body without it. The interviews supporting that account do not verify other plastic-surgery rumors.
What plastic surgery has Chanel West Coast confirmed?
In an interview with Us Weekly at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, Chanel said she had liposuction after giving birth the previous year. She called it “the scariest, hardest thing I’ve ever went through” and described it as a “great jumpstart” toward getting her body back. She also acknowledged feeling pressure to look good as she returned to camera work. Us Weekly, September 13, 2023
That is the procedure she has directly disclosed in the interviews covered here. Reports and speculation about other cosmetic procedures should not be treated as confirmation: these interviews do not establish a comprehensive history beyond her account of postpartum liposuction.
When did she have liposuction, and what has she said about it?
