2025 has passed, so these are forecasts to look back on—not predictions about what may happen next. A January 2025 PowerFortunes roundup attributed six possible engagements to astrologer Mahlet Yared. Later coverage reported Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement; the available reporting does not establish a complete outcome for all six couples.
Which couples were named in the 2025 astrology forecast?
The January 2025 PowerFortunes roundup named the following couples as likely to get engaged during the year. It credits Yared, but does not link to her original forecast or explain her individual reasoning for each couple.
| Couple named | Forecast source and date | What later coverage establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Zendaya and Tom Holland | PowerFortunes roundup, January 2025; attributed to Mahlet Yared | Cosmopolitan’s August 2025 astrology explainer discusses engagement news involving the couple. The available material here does not establish further details. |
| Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce | PowerFortunes roundup, January 2025; attributed to Mahlet Yared | Cosmopolitan reports that they announced their engagement in August 2025. |
| Jeremy Allen White and Molly Gordon | PowerFortunes roundup, January 2025; attributed to Mahlet Yared | No verified outcome is established by the later coverage cited here. |
| Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi | PowerFortunes roundup, January 2025; attributed to Mahlet Yared | No verified outcome is established by the later coverage cited here. |
| Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns | PowerFortunes roundup, January 2025; attributed to Mahlet Yared | No verified outcome is established by the later coverage cited here. |
| Rihanna and A$AP Rocky | PowerFortunes roundup, January 2025; attributed to Mahlet Yared | No verified outcome is established by the later coverage cited here. |
What did later coverage report?
Cosmopolitan’s August 27, 2025 astrology explainer reported Swift and Kelce as engaged and discussed engagement news involving Zendaya and Holland. Its December 30, 2025 roundup says Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August. These are later reports, not a complete accounting of every couple on Yared’s list.
For the other four pairs, the coverage cited here does not establish whether an engagement occurred. An outcome should not be inferred from the fact that a couple appeared in a forecast.

What astrological ideas did coverage associate with engagement buzz?
Cosmopolitan’s August explainer connected 2025 engagement buzz with transits including the North Node in Pisces, Jupiter in Cancer, and Venus retrograde in Pisces. Astrologers Lisa Stardust and Kayla Murphy described symbolic interpretations of those transits:
Lisa Stardust, astrologer: “The eclipses of 2025 brought on by the North Node in Pisces ask us to call in what speaks to the heart,”

Do the outcomes show that astrology predicted engagements accurately?
No accuracy rate can be drawn from this limited record. Later coverage supports Swift and Kelce’s engagement and discusses Zendaya and Holland in an engagement context, but it does not verify outcomes for all six forecasts or provide a systematic comparison between predictions and results. The reported match is not evidence, by itself, that astrology reliably predicts celebrity engagements.
