This is a dated snapshot of names covered by English-language entertainment outlets, not a complete worldwide list. Because some expected dates have passed, a pregnancy announcement is not proof that someone is still expecting: entries below are framed as reported announcements, and any birth announcement takes precedence.
Updated October 7, 2026.
Who announced a baby expected in 2026?
Us Weekly’s roundup, updated October 1, reports these recent announcements. The roundup is a useful record of reported news, but it does not establish that each pregnancy is ongoing as of this article’s update date.
| Celebrity or couple | Reported announcement or timing | Child details reported |
|---|---|---|
| Dorothy Wang | Announced October 1 | First baby |
| Jesse McCartney and his wife | Included among recent announcements; an announcement date and due date are not stated in the roundup summary | Second child |
| Blake Horstmann and Giannina Gibelli | Included among recent announcements; an announcement date and due date are not stated in the roundup summary | Second child |
| Polly Brindle | Announced that her baby is arriving in February; the roundup summary does not specify the year of that February | Not stated |
| Ciara and Russell Wilson | Included among recent announcements; an announcement date and due date are not stated in the roundup summary | Fourth child together; fifth for Ciara |
| Alicia Crowder | Included among recent announcements; an announcement date and due date are not stated in the roundup summary | First child |
| Peter Weber and Jadeyn Carr | Included among recent announcements; an announcement date and due date are not stated in the roundup summary | Expecting twins |
These entries are reported by Us Weekly’s 2026 pregnancy-announcement roundup. Its summary identifies Bonnie Wright, Aubrey Plaza, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway and Princess Eugenie among earlier announcements, but does not give enough detail here to assign each an expected date or current pregnancy status.
Other names reported in 2026 roundups
Rayo’s September 20 list also included Sam Aston and Briony Gardner, Kaley Cuoco, Oti Mabuse, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Nathan and Charlotte Sykes. It reported that Pinnock was in her third trimester in early September but had not announced an exact due date. That trimester detail is a dated report, not a current status confirmation.

What is known about expected dates—and what is not
Publicly shared timing is uneven. Some announcements give a month or season; others give no due date at all. Do not infer an expected date from a photo, appearance, or the date an announcement appeared in the news.

- Leigh-Anne Pinnock: Rayo said she was in her third trimester in early September 2026, but had not shared an exact due date.
- Princess Eugenie: Buckingham Palace’s statement, reproduced by Marie Claire, said she and Jack Brooksbank were expecting their third child, “due this summer.” Since summer 2026 had passed by October 7, that wording alone cannot establish whether the baby had arrived or whether an updated announcement followed.
- Natalie Portman: The Associated Press reported that her publicist confirmed she was expecting her third child. The AP report did not give an expected date.
Marie Claire reproduced the Palace statement in its report on Princess Eugenie’s pregnancy. AP’s report on Natalie Portman says her publicist confirmed the pregnancy and notes that further details were not provided. Portman told Harper’s Bazaar, as quoted by AP, “Tanguy and I are very excited,” and, “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”

Pregnancy news changes quickly: a baby expected in early 2026 may already have been born by October, while a roundup can remain online without reflecting later developments. The reports cited here document announcements and reported status at particular points in time; they do not amount to a verified, exhaustive worldwide register or confirm the present status of every name.

For historical context, WHO Australia reported that a representative and an insider source confirmed Aubrey Plaza’s pregnancy to People in April 2026. Its roundup also contains entries that require care when judging whether a 2026 expected date remains relevant. See WHO Australia’s roundup for that reporting.
For a current update on any individual, look for a first-party post, an official statement, a representative’s confirmation, or a reputable report of a birth. Rumors and appearance-based speculation are not confirmation.
