Castr’s prerecorded-live workflow uses uploaded MP4 files. Its feature page describes both scheduled premieres and continuous playlist looping, with the loop mode available on Premium and higher plans. It also documents delivery to YouTube and other destinations, including Facebook, Twitch, custom RTMP/SRT destinations, and its embedded player. That makes Castr worth considering when a single continuous program needs to reach more than YouTube.
Castr lists monthly prices of $19.99 for Starter, $49.99 for Standard, $199.99 for Premium, $349.99 for Ultra, and $749.99 for Events on its pricing page retrieved in 2026. The page says loop mode is not included with Starter or Standard. Annual billing has lower effective monthly rates. Since plan prices and entitlements can change, check Castr’s pricing page before choosing.

OneStream Live: dedicated YouTube mode, with an Enterprise requirement
OneStream Live’s help center describes a YouTube 24/7 workflow in which you can upload or select prerecorded videos, build a playlist, and start immediately or schedule the stream. Its setup guide says the feature requires Enterprise and allows up to 30 days per scheduled run. Content sources listed include a local device, OneStream storage, and cloud storage.
Do not assume OneStream Live’s general multistreaming feature means its continuous mode streams everywhere: the help center identifies the 24/7 feature as YouTube-only. Its pricing page lists a $30/month add-on called “24-Hours Streams,” while the setup guide says the dedicated 24/7 feature requires Enterprise. Those descriptions do not establish one universal package or eligibility rule, so ask OneStream Live to confirm the exact plan and add-on for your account before budgeting. What an always-on stream means for YouTube archives and viewers
Do not rely on one uninterrupted replay
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived; streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. It recommends keeping a local backup if you need an archive. DVR rewind may be limited
YouTube says viewers can pause and rewind during a live stream, but DVR features may be limited or unavailable for streams longer than 12 hours. If viewers need to revisit a specific section, provide separate on-demand videos or another reliable way to find it rather than assuming a long live broadcast will offer full rewind. Rights still apply to every repeated program
YouTube’s live terms require compliance with its Community Guidelines and state that the provider must have all necessary rights for live content, including applicable music rights. Repeating a video does not change who needs permission to use its footage, soundtrack, or other included material. Check rights for every program and track before putting it in a continuous playlist.
