Why is this Sam Wilson’s first Captain America film?
Mackie’s Sam Wilson took up the Captain America mantle after the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. This film is his first feature outing as the shield-bearing hero, rather than his first appearance as Sam Wilson. The story brings him face to face with Thaddeus Ross, now the newly elected U.S. president, before an international incident pulls Sam into uncovering a wider conspiracy.
Who made the film?
Julius Onah directed Captain America: Brave New World. Marvel Japan credits Rob Edwards, Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musson, Julius Onah and Peter Glanz with the screenplay.
