Yes. PRISM Live Studio supports YouTube, so it can be part of a 24/7 devotional channel setup in India. But app compatibility does not guarantee YouTube will let your channel start streaming, keep one session live indefinitely, archive a 24-hour broadcast, or approve the channel for monetization. Check live-streaming access, plan around YouTube’s archive warning for streams longer than 12 hours, and make sure you have rights to every recording and visual you use.
What PRISM Live Studio can—and cannot—guarantee
PRISM provides ways to connect to YouTube, including service linking and RTMP linking. Its published FAQ also lists RTMP, HLS (YouTube), WHIP (Twitch), SRT and RIST among supported protocols. That establishes platform compatibility, not uninterrupted operation: a channel restriction, a YouTube or app event, a computer or network failure, or a rights match can stop a broadcast.
PRISM’s support guidance says YouTube has no stated maximum live-stream duration. That does not mean a 24/7 session is guaranteed to remain live. It is also separate from whether YouTube creates a replay archive; PRISM warns that a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be archived. Treat continuous broadcasting, replay retention and monetization as three different questions.
PRISM’s published Windows PC minimums are Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), 8 GB RAM, an NVIDIA GTX 1060 or equivalent, and an Intel Core i3-9100 or i5-7600 or higher. Its general-stream recommendation is 16 GB RAM or more, an NVIDIA RTX 2070 or equivalent, and an Intel Core i5-8500 or higher. These are vendor-listed specifications, not independent tests or a guarantee of a stable 24/7 broadcast; check the current PRISM FAQ before relying on them.

Confirm the channel can go live before configuring PRISM
YouTube channel readiness is independent of PRISM installation. PRISM’s YouTube troubleshooting guide says first-time verification and activation can involve a wait of up to 24 hours. Restrictions on a channel, or limits affecting the creation of a stream through an app, can also prevent a start.
- Check YouTube Studio. Confirm that live streaming is available for your channel and that there is no restriction preventing it.
- Allow for activation. If this is the channel’s first live stream, complete YouTube’s required verification and wait for activation; PRISM’s guide describes a possible wait of up to 24 hours.
- Connect PRISM. Use service linking if you want to connect the platform account, or RTMP linking if you are setting up a stream with a YouTube stream key. Follow the current in-app prompts and YouTube Studio’s stream setup.
- If PRISM cannot start the stream, check YouTube’s Live Control Room. PRISM’s guide says creating a stream in YouTube Live Dashboard and then starting it through PRISM may help in some cases. The app/API behavior described in that guide can change; it is not a permanent subscriber-threshold rule.
PRISM notes that RTMP linking may limit access to viewer count and chat inside PRISM. If those controls matter to your workflow, account for that trade-off when choosing how to connect. See PRISM’s YouTube start troubleshooting guidance for current connection problems.

Plan the broadcast and replay separately
For a channel that must run continuously, decide whether preserving replays is important before choosing one long session. PRISM’s guidance reports that YouTube auto-archiving applies to streams under 12 hours and that streams longer than 12 hours may not be archived at all. Platform limits and policies can change, so do not treat a 24-hour broadcast as a dependable recording.
- If you need a replay, plan shorter sessions under the 12-hour warning point and verify what YouTube actually saves for your channel.
- Before relying on a schedule, run a short unlisted test, confirm the stream appears live, and check whether the replay is available afterward.
- Keep a separate copy of source recordings you are entitled to use. A YouTube archive is not a substitute for keeping your own authorized media.
These precautions reduce avoidable surprises; they cannot guarantee that YouTube will keep a session live or archive it. PRISM’s stream-ended guidance explains the distinction between duration and archiving.

Clear rights for devotional audio and visuals
Calling a broadcast devotional, traditional, or intended for worship does not itself establish permission to use its material. YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches and says a detected match can lead to a replaced image, an interruption, or termination. YouTube also warns that even licensed material may be interrupted if the rights owner has not added the channel to its Content ID allowlist.
Before going live, confirm that your permissions cover the actual recordings, compositions, performances, artwork, photographs and video in the broadcast, including the relevant territories and uses. Keep written licenses and permissions, and ask the rights owner about allowlisting when applicable. Credit in a description, finding a file online, or using a devotional song does not by itself prove you have the necessary rights. YouTube’s copyright guidance for live streams and livestream terms explain the platform’s enforcement and rights obligations. The terms also require compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements; they do not determine which Indian permissions or registrations apply to a particular operator, so seek current local advice for that question.

Do not assume a 24/7 channel will be monetized
Continuous watch time does not guarantee YouTube Partner Program (YPP) approval or ad revenue. YouTube’s standard ad-revenue eligibility guidance lists 1,000 subscribers and either 4,000 qualified public watch hours from long-form videos in the prior 365 days or 10 million qualified public Shorts views in the prior 90 days, in addition to policy compliance, regional availability and review. These are eligibility thresholds, not a prediction that a channel will be accepted. For India and the feature you want, check the channel’s current Earn tab and YouTube’s earning guidance, because requirements and availability can change.
YouTube says monetized content should be original and authentic; mass-produced, repetitive or reused material with little added value may be ineligible. Reviewers may assess the channel as a whole, including its videos, theme, metadata and About section. A creator’s original live devotional performance or commentary may present a different originality case from a loop of third-party recordings over a static image, but only YouTube can decide the channel’s eligibility. Read YouTube’s channel monetization policies before building a format around repeated material.
