Yes, if the video is already available as a StreamYard Video Clip. In the studio, open Media assets, find the clip under Video Clips, and enable Loop. It repeats until you stop it. For an existing broadcast, StreamYard also lets you select it from Past broadcasts when setting up a pre-recorded stream—but that stream ends when the video finishes; the documented workflow does not loop it.
Loop a Video Clip in the studio
- Open your StreamYard studio.
- Select Media assets, then find the video under Video Clips.
- Enable Loop for the clip.
- Play it in the studio. It will repeat until you manually stop it.
StreamYard describes Video Clips as stored on its service, so this workflow does not require selecting a local computer file during the broadcast. Its documentation does not, however, confirm that every existing cloud recording can be converted directly into a looping Video Clip without first being added to the Video Clips assets.
Use an existing StreamYard broadcast without downloading it
If you want an existing broadcast to play as a scheduled pre-recorded stream, choose it under Past broadcasts in the pre-recorded stream setup. That lets you use the existing broadcast rather than upload a copy from your computer. Playback starts at the scheduled time and ends when the video is finished; the documented setup does not make it repeat.

Check plan and file limits before preparing a clip
- StreamYard’s clip-upload documentation says custom Video Clips are available on paid plans. Its standard listed limit is less than 10 minutes and 200 MB; Business has a larger listed allowance. The documented clip format is MP4.
- The Free Plan limitations page says pre-recorded live streaming is not included.
- For pre-recorded streams, StreamYard lists plan-specific duration and upload limits and requires uploaded video to be MP4 with H.264 encoding. The scheduled stream ends when the video ends.
- StreamYard has a separate recommended-format guide for the video library. Do not assume those library recommendations are the same as the Video Clip loop requirements.
Plan allowances and upload rules can change. Check the current plan details and in-product requirements before preparing a large file.
