Those reports document the show’s distribution history, not James’s or Remini’s compensation. The 2024 schedule announcement is historical; it does not establish where or when the series airs in 2026. Neither report gives actor-specific payment figures.

SAG-AFTRA defines residuals as additional compensation for performers when a production is shown beyond the original use covered by initial compensation. Qualifying television reruns and distribution in other markets can trigger residuals, depending on the applicable agreement. Why a rerun count cannot produce a personal income estimate
Residuals are not a universal flat payment for each airing. SAG-AFTRA materials describe calculations that can depend on the contract in force for the relevant year, time spent on the production, production type, market, applicable minimums, license fee, and the performers sharing a residual pool. The union’s member-help guidance explains that a fixed broadcast-syndication residual is calculated as a percentage of the applicable minimum; the result can vary with the license fee and cast sharing it. Even a payment record may not map neatly to one airing or market. SAG-AFTRA says payments that cover multiple markets or runs can be “rolled up” into a single amount on one market line; other lines may show zero despite being included in that aggregate. A single line—or an anecdote about one check—therefore may not represent a performer’s full residual income.

What is publicly established for James and Remini
The sources cited here do not disclose either actor’s individual King of Queens residual checks, private compensation terms, or total income from the series. They also do not provide attributable statements from James or Remini about their rerun income. That means neither the claim that James can live on the show’s reruns alone nor an equivalent claim about Remini can be verified from this evidence. It would also be unsupported to assume the two actors receive the same amount.
