It is not confirmed by Gyre’s reviewed public documentation. Gyre describes cloud-based YouTube looping and scheduled broadcasts, but those details do not establish whether a stream automatically resumes after scheduled Gyre maintenance. Before relying on an uninterrupted loop, ask Gyre support what happens to your YouTube broadcast during and after maintenance.
What Gyre documents—and what it does not
Gyre’s product page describes uploading prerecorded videos to Gyre Storage, arranging them into a looping playlist, connecting a YouTube account and scheduling a 24/7 stream. It says the playlist restarts when it reaches its end. That describes playback behavior while the service is running; it is not a promise that the broadcast will recover after a service outage. Gyre’s product page
Gyre’s scheduler guide covers planned broadcast start and end times. It instructs users to create the stream in YouTube Studio and in Gyre without launching it, enable YouTube auto-start and auto-end, make the stream public, and schedule it in Gyre. Those settings concern planned scheduling, not a documented recovery guarantee after Gyre maintenance. Gyre scheduler guide
A recent Gyre update discusses channel authorization, API-based broadcast creation, synchronized stream status and scheduled events, but does not specify whether a broadcast returns after scheduled maintenance. The help-center index lists guides for creating and scheduling 24/7 streams and troubleshooting; its indexed descriptions do not resolve this recovery question. Gyre API update · Gyre Help Center

Ask Gyre these specific recovery questions
Before scheduling a documentary or other long-running loop that cannot tolerate an interruption, contact Gyre support and ask for the answer for your current account setup and service version. Clarify:
- Does the existing YouTube broadcast resume after scheduled Gyre maintenance, or does Gyre create a new broadcast?
- Does recovery happen automatically, or must you take an action in Gyre or YouTube Studio?
- Are YouTube auto-start and auto-end required for the recovery behavior, and are there any other settings or conditions?
- What should you expect viewers to see during the outage and when the stream returns?
Do not treat ordinary playlist looping, scheduled start/end controls or general automation descriptions as confirmation of maintenance recovery. Until Gyre confirms the behavior, plan for the possibility that the live broadcast may not return without intervention.
