Cameron Diaz’s Yearly Earnings: What Forbes Reported—and What It Doesn’t Prove

There is no verified public figure for Cameron Diaz’s guaranteed or recurring yearly salary. Forbes estimated that she earned $20 million in 2025, or $23 million gross, and separately reported a $45 million deal for two Netflix films. The first is an attributed estimate for one year; the second covers multiple pictures. Neither establishes what Diaz receives every year.

What the reported figures mean

Forbes’s 2026 reporting puts Diaz’s estimated 2025 earnings at $20 million ($23 million gross) and reports a $45 million, two-picture Netflix deal. These figures are media estimates and reported contract information, not independently confirmed disclosures by Diaz.

Figure What it refers to What it does not establish
$20 million ($23 million gross) Forbes’s estimate of Diaz’s earnings in 2025 A guaranteed salary, a recurring annual amount, or a detailed breakdown of income
$45 million Forbes’s reported value for a two-picture Netflix deal Annual pay or proof that the full amount was received in one year

Forbes is the source for both numbers. The available reporting does not include a salary disclosure, contract document, or breakdown showing how much came from acting fees, residuals, business income, or other sources, or when payments were made. The figures also do not establish after-tax income.

Why Diaz returned to acting

Netflix described Back in Action as Diaz’s first film in almost a decade. In a January 24, 2025 interview with Krista Smith for Netflix’s Skip Intro, Diaz reflected on the importance of choosing whom she worked with: “If I haven’t done a film in 10 years, if I’m going to go back to doing what I really was happy stepping away from, then who I do it with is really, really important.” Read the Netflix Tudum interview.

In comments on The Graham Norton Show reported by Sky News on January 18, 2025, Diaz said of her break: “Oh my God, I loved it. It was the best 10 years of my life.” She also said returning made sense for her family. Those remarks offer personal context for the hiatus and return, not evidence about her earnings. Sky News report.

What is known about her work outside films

A 2022 CBS News profile covered Diaz’s wine business, Avaline, but it does not provide a current income figure or establish current partner-program terms. It is evidence of business activity at that time, not a basis for calculating her present annual income. CBS News profile.

What can—and cannot—be concluded

The available figures support a limited conclusion: Forbes estimated substantial earnings for Diaz in 2025 and reported a sizable deal covering two Netflix films. They do not establish a current yearly salary or prove that either figure will recur. Forbes’s earnings and deal reporting.
