Windows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallCrashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteIn CameraFi Live, open the hamburger menu, go to Settings, enable Audio Sync under Labs, then return to the main screen, tap the microphone icon, and adjust with the + or − controls. Make small changes and test again. Check both the live playback and the saved YouTube broadcast: CameraFi warns that using Audio Sync on YouTube may cause a problem in the saved video.
First identify where the sync problem occurs
Compare the live stream with its saved broadcast. Note whether the audio is ahead of or behind the video, and whether the mismatch is present from the start or grows over time. These observations help you judge whether the live adjustment is appropriate and give support useful details.
- Only the saved broadcast is out of sync: CameraFi specifically warns that Audio Sync may affect YouTube’s saved video. Avoid assuming that changing the live sync setting is the right repair for an archive-only problem.
- The live stream is out of sync too: Try the Audio Sync control below, then check both live playback and the archive again.
- The mismatch seems tied to one source: If practical, make a short test with another available audio input. CameraFi documents built-in, wired, Bluetooth, USB-camera, and recorded audio sources. Testing another source is a way to isolate the problem, not proof that any particular input type causes sync errors.
Adjust CameraFi Live Audio Sync
- In CameraFi Live, open the hamburger menu and tap Settings.
- Under Labs, enable Audio Sync. CameraFi’s manual describes Labs as a place to try features before official release, so the setting may be absent or labeled differently in your installed version.
- Return to the main screen and tap the microphone icon.
- Use the + or − controls to adjust sync in small increments. The source instructions do not establish a universal setting or a fixed adjustment amount for every phone or input.
- Make a short test stream and compare the audio and video. If the result is still off, adjust incrementally and test again rather than making a large change all at once.
- After the live test, inspect the saved YouTube broadcast before relying on the adjustment. CameraFi warns that Audio Sync may cause a problem with the saved video after a YouTube broadcast ends. CameraFi also says the adjustment applies to audio in the VIDEO3 recorded file.
What to check if the setting is missing or does not fix it
CameraFi’s detailed Audio Sync instructions are from a 2020 manual. Its official FAQ still links an Audio Sync tutorial, and its Android guide describes microphone controls and multiple audio inputs, but the available material does not establish that today’s interface is identical on every device or app version. Release notes list Android v1.32.37.603 with per-audio-source sync on June 7, 2022, and Android v1.35.20.0621 on June 21, 2024; those dated entries do not establish which version is currently available to you.
- Check the installed app’s Settings and microphone controls for the feature. If the labels or controls differ, consult CameraFi’s current in-app help or contact its support team rather than assuming the 2020 steps still match your version.
- Repeat a short test with a different available audio source, if possible, and record whether the issue follows the source.
- Keep track of whether the offset is constant or becomes more noticeable as the stream continues. This is diagnostic information, not a confirmed explanation of the cause.
When the problem is in an uploaded or edited video
CameraFi’s Audio Sync setting is a live-stream control, not a general repair tool for an already edited upload. YouTube’s published guidance for uploaded files says to make sure the audio and video track durations are the same; differing durations may prevent sync, and YouTube recommends editing the tracks before uploading. That guidance concerns uploaded media, not a control for correcting CameraFi’s live-stream processing.

StreamNeo is for keeping uploaded videos live on YouTube 24/7; it is not a CameraFi Live sync control or a way to stream from a camera. If your goal is instead to loop prerecorded video on a YouTube channel, you upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; your upload streams as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot, and the service automatically attempts recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. See StreamNeo or start the free first day.
