Yes—Bugs Bunny was officially included in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, titled Showdown. Epic named him among the premium Battle Pass outfits in its March 19, 2026 announcement. The announcement listed the Battle Pass at 800 V-Bucks at launch; that historical price does not mean the pass or outfit is still available to buy or unlock.
How the Bugs Bunny Fortnite story changed from leak to confirmation
March 8: a pre-announcement report
Before Epic confirmed the season’s contents, Times of India reported dataminer claims that Bugs Bunny might headline the Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass. The report said Epic had not yet confirmed the claim, so it was a rumor at that point—not proof that the character would appear.
March 17: promotional art reported
GamerFocus reported that promotional art published by Epic showed Bugs Bunny and that the season was due to begin March 19. This was secondary reporting about promotional material, not the definitive confirmation.
March 19: Epic confirms Bugs Bunny
Epic’s official Showdown announcement named Bugs Bunny among the premium outfits available through the Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass. Epic’s announcement makes the inclusion confirmed, rather than merely leaked. The season’s official name was Showdown.

How players could get the outfit
Epic described Bugs Bunny as a digital Battle Pass outfit. At the season’s launch, the Battle Pass was listed at 800 V-Bucks. That is the price Epic announced for the pass at launch in 2026, not a current price or a guarantee that the old pass can still be purchased. The announcement does not establish a physical product as a way to obtain the outfit.
Is Bugs Bunny available in Fortnite now?
As of October 8, 2026, the season has passed. The Fortnite Item Shop page directs players to check the in-game shop for items; the page viewed on that date showed other inventory and no Looney Tunes section. Shop inventory changes, so this check cannot establish whether the outfit has returned at another time—or whether it will return. Check the in-game shop for current availability.
