Bruno Mars was the Fortnite Festival Season 9 Icon, with the season launching June 18, 2025. Epic’s announcement included a Bruno Mars Shop bundle, a Music Pass with outfits and other rewards, new Jam Tracks, and updates to music browsing and Lobby Music. Those details describe the 2025 launch; they do not confirm that Season 9 items are still available.
When did Bruno Mars come to Fortnite Festival?
Epic Games announced Bruno Mars as the Season 9 Icon on June 17, 2025, and the season began the following day, June 18. Epic framed the collaboration as a Fortnite stop on Mars’s world tour. Epic’s Season 9 announcement is the source for the launch details below.
What was in the Bruno Mars Shop bundle?
The World Tour Bundle included the Bruno-San Outfit, with a Bruninho Style, plus Bruno’s Collection Back Bling, Floating Notes Contrail, Bonde do Brunão Emote, Bonde do Brunão Jam Track, Key Charm Keytar, and Worldwide Bass. Epic said the items could also be purchased individually and that the bundle would remain in the Shop through the end of Season 9.
What did the Season 9 Music Pass include?
The Music Pass featured the Die With A Smile Bruno Outfit, based on the music video. Epic said players could earn free and premium rewards by gaining XP in any Fortnite experience. At launch, the pass was listed for 1,400 V-Bucks or available through Fortnite Crew.

Other named rewards included the Dreamer’s Two-Shot Back Bling, Last Reprise Guitar, Red Hearts Kit Drums, and a Heavenly Style for the outfit. Epic also said Music Pass rewards were not exclusive to the pass and might be sold in the Shop later; that possibility is not confirmation that any reward is currently purchasable.
Jam Tracks announced for the pass and Shop
- Premium Music Pass tracks: Bruno Mars’ “Bruno-San’s Theme Song,” Sabotage’s “Mun Ra (part. Instituto),” Jackson 5’s “ABC,” and Silk Sonic’s “Leave The Door Open.”
- Free Music Pass tracks named by Epic: Epic Games’ “Dance Therapy,” “Into the Underworld,” “Move,” and “Let It Burn.”
- Additional Shop tracks: Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With A Smile,” and ROSÉ and Bruno Mars’ “APT.”
What changed in Festival’s music features?
Season 9’s June 18 update introduced three changes to music discovery and playback:

- Players could browse featured and owned Jam Tracks alphabetically by title or artist.
- Lobby Music’s True Random option moved to a new song when the current one ended or when players returned to the Lobby. If players had favorited songs, True Random selected only from those favorites.
Can you still get the Bruno Mars Fortnite skin?
The Season 9 announcement establishes what Epic offered at launch, not what is available now. It said the World Tour Bundle would be in the Shop through the end of Season 9, and that some Music Pass rewards might appear in the Shop later. Neither statement confirms present availability. Check Fortnite’s current official Shop before assuming a specific outfit or item can be purchased.

For Season 9 VODs, Epic said monetization featuring the eligible tracks “Bonde Do Brunão,” “Die With A Smile,” and “APT.” would be limited to the season’s first seven days; after that, creators should expect claims from rights holders. Epic also warned that Twitch VODs or clips could be flagged by third-party systems and recommended disabling them when streaming gameplay with eligible tracks. This was season-specific guidance issued in 2025, not a statement of current platform-wide policy.
