Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band played three Madrid shows at Cívitas Metropolitano on June 12, 14, and 17, 2024. The nights featured different set lists: the official show pages record 30 songs on June 12, 30 on June 14, and 31 on June 17. RTVE’s Marta Rey described the opening-night performance as a three-hour show; that duration is her reported account, not an independently measured figure.
Three Madrid dates, three set lists
The official tour archive lists the Madrid performances as part of Springsteen’s 2024 World Tour. The artist’s show pages give the venue, dates, and songs for each night:
| Date | Venue | Songs listed | Examples from the set |
|---|---|---|---|
| June 12, 2024 | Cívitas Metropolitano | 30 | “The Rising,” “No Surrender,” “Ghosts,” “The River,” “Backstreets,” and “Born to Run” |
| June 14, 2024 | Cívitas Metropolitano | 30 | “Something in the Night,” “The Ties That Bind,” “Candy’s Room,” “Adam Raised a Cain,” and “Ghosts” |
| June 17, 2024 | Cívitas Metropolitano | 31 | “Cover Me,” “Night,” “Trapped,” “Atlantic City,” and “Letter to You” |
The counts and song examples come from the official June 12 show page, June 14 show page, and June 17 show page. These are distinct nightly lists, not one shared set played identically across all three concerts.
What happened on opening night?
RTVE journalist Marta Rey’s June 13, 2024 report covers the June 12 concert, the opening night of the Madrid run. She described a three-hour performance, noted that Springsteen’s voice was hoarse, and wrote about the broad repertoire and audience participation. The duration and observations are attributed to Rey’s account.

Rey highlighted a late sequence that included “Land of Hope and Dreams,” “Born to Run,” “Bobby Jean,” “Dancing in the Dark,” and “Twist and Shout,” before Springsteen closed alone with “I’ll See You in My Dreams.” Her account is a perspective on June 12; it should not be taken as a description of every Madrid night. Read the RTVE report for her full contemporary coverage.
A set spanning different eras
The three official lists draw on several periods of Springsteen’s catalogue, with songs associated with Born in the U.S.A., The River, Darkness on the Edge of Town, Nebraska, and Letter to You. The variation is clear in the examples: “The River” and “Backstreets” appear on June 12, while June 14 includes “Something in the Night” and “Adam Raised a Cain”; June 17 includes “Atlantic City” and “Letter to You.” The show pages provide the complete lists and link to listening options; current availability can vary by service and territory.

Madrid was a return, not a first visit
The 2024 run was not Springsteen and the E Street Band’s first Madrid appearance. The official archive also records a Madrid concert at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in 2016 during The River Tour. The official tour history lists the 2024 World Tour as 48 shows across 37 locations, including the three Cívitas Metropolitano dates; the archive may be updated.
The available official show pages establish the dates, venue, and set lists, while RTVE supplies a contemporaneous account of opening night. These sources do not establish an attendance figure, ticket-sales total, or economic-impact estimate for the Madrid shows.
