What was Bruce Glover known for?
Mr. Wint in Diamonds Are Forever
Glover played Mr. Wint, one half of the courteous but lethal criminal duo Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd, in the 1971 James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever. His performance in the film became his best-known role.
Glover recalled joking with co-star Sean Connery during filming: “I was chest to chest with Sean,” he said in a 2021 interview cited by The Independent. “I like to make jokes, so I said in a kinda wispy voice, ‘I think I’m getting emotionally involved…’”

How did Bruce Glover approach acting?
Glover described his method as listening to a character’s thoughts rather than following a sequence of prescribed actions. “No 12, no 25 steps,” he told The Washington Post. “Think the thoughts of the character. Have a conversation. That’s how simple it is.”
He also recalled discovering that he could make an audience laugh: “I had an instinct for it and didn’t know I did,” he told the Los Angeles Times, recounting an earlier conversation with the James Bond Radio podcast.
