After her eviction from Big Brother 26, Brooklyn Rivera said Tucker Des Lauriers targeted her because he was “scared” of her—and had less “cojones.” That was Rivera’s explanation in a post-eviction interview, not a confirmed account of Tucker’s private motive.
What did Brooklyn Rivera say about Tucker?
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly published August 23, 2024, Rivera was asked why Tucker had singled her out as the leader of the Pentagon alliance. She answered: “Because he’s scared of me. He is scared of someone that’s smarter than him. He is scared of someone that has more cojones than him, and that’s me.”
Rivera’s “more cojones” remark was her characterization of Tucker’s decision to target her. The interview reports what she thought motivated him; it does not establish Tucker’s actual private reasoning.
What happened before Rivera’s interview?
The interview was conducted the morning after Rivera’s reported eviction from Big Brother 26. Entertainment Weekly described her as a 34-year-old business administrator from Dallas and reported that she was evicted by an 8-1 vote during the Thursday live eviction episode. The article says Tucker identified her as the Pentagon alliance’s leader and wanted her out, then won the Head of Household and Veto competitions.

How did Rivera assess her own game?
Rivera said she had not won a competition and had trusted the wrong people. She also said she would not change her loyalty to the first people who had sought it. In her view, Tucker was a strong competitor but had weaknesses in his social game and ability to adapt.

She also criticized the season’s AI twist and recurring three-nominee format, saying they made it difficult to strategize consistently. These were Rivera’s retrospective opinions about her gameplay and the season, rather than independently verified conclusions.
